Soon, your gadgets will be able to get their energy from the same place you do: sugar. Scientists at St. Louis University have developed fuel cells that run on any sugar source that happen to last four times longer than standard lithium-ion batteries.

So I guess that means that eventually you'll be able to rejuice your phone or iPod using a can of soda, finally making spilling soda on your electronics an intentional event with beneficial results rather than the stickifying, infuriating mess that it currently is.
