We love cool toasters around here, but most of our favorites have been just concepts. While our favorite, the toaster printer, is still just a fancy idea, we've found a toaster that really does what that one merely promises: toasting images onto your bread. Any image you'd like, in fact, as long as it's a skull and crossbones.

The Pirate Toaster is a pop-up model that burns a Jolly Roger on your bread, sending the message: I may like toast with jam and tea, but I am hardcore — don't mess with me or my toast. Of course, you'll have to order it from Germany and buy an adapter for your wall outlet, but it's all worth it to make your toast look like it's been flagged by poison-control services. — S.E.
