ETNA Phone concept mounts on the wall

etna_2.jpg

This concept cellphone takes some inspiration from the rumored Apple Phone (don't you love how a non-existent gadget can be an inspiration?) but then adds some unique twists that make it stand above the crowd of photoshopped phone designs.

It's got the familiar circular input device in the center, but rather than a button there's a hole in the middle. That hole is used to charge and mount the phone, removing the need for cables. Just pop it onto the charging peg and it juices itself back up. The goal of making the phone stationary when you're at home is to give it more of a landline feel. Makes sense to us. As it's just a concept don't look for this in stores anytime soon, but it would be cool to see actual devices inspired by this come around eventually.
