Microsoft is a smart company, so there's no way its gigantic leap into portable music players, the Zune, wouldn't be compatible with their upcoming behemoth of an operating system, Vista, is there? Guys? Wait, it isn't compatible with Vista yet? Oh. That's… interesting. Well, to be fair, Vista isn't available to anyone but dirty pirates yet, so there's no reason for it to be compatible. However, the fact that Microsoft's biggest piece of hardware needs further work to get compatible doesn't bode well for regular, non-overly financed gadgets from other companies. While it's safe to assume the Zune will play nice with Vista by the time Microsoft finally releases it to the general public, we hope people who make stuff like digital cameras and fancy mice won't need to double their budgets just to make their hardware compatible.
