From the putting-robots-where-they-don't-belong department comes the "Breeze," a robot in the form of a Japanese Maple tree. What improvements does a tree get when it comes in robot form? Why, it can "visually sense and react through 360°, allowing her to reach out to you and others whenever you are near." Oh, that's not creepy, not at all. So not only is the robot tree referred to as a female for some reason, but it reaches out to you when you walk by, presumably to choke you to death. So rather than provide us with life-giving oxygen, a robot tree tries to grab us. Gee, thanks, technology. Now the Breeze isn't a product, it's an art project, which as we know is a handy label that justifies making all sorts of creepy objects, so don't expect to be able to buy one of these or see them lining your street anytime soon. You'll have to wait for the robot overlords to take control for that to happen.
