There are few things more annoying than answering your phone in a loud place like a concert and then having to put a finger in one ear and scream, still unable to be heard over the roar of the crowd. The Invisio Q7 Bluetooth headset intends to solve the problem of getting drowned out by crowds, wind, or sirens by using the vibrations in your jaw to pick up what you're saying, leaving out a microphone altogether. By using bone-conduction technology (developed by Danish company Nextlink) to convert your skull's vibrations into sound, the headset leaves out all noise happening around you, meaning you could be chatting with Mom while watching a space shuttle launch and you'd still be heard loud and clear. Another bonus: the Q7 fits inside your ear without a clip going over it; it has a small rubber piece that bends within the contours of your ear to keep it stable, which looks kind of strange but is actually quite comfortable. When I tried out a prototype model at a demo recently, it took a couple of tries to get it in properly, but once in place it felt fine. Unfortunately I wasn't able to test any calls with it — maybe I'll get a chance when working models of the Q7 become available by the end of the year, exclusively at RadioShack for $200. — Adam Frucci
